I have a 2003 Ford F150 4x4 with the ABS light on. I don't know where the sensors are or how to change them. Any help would be great!
They are located on the back of the drums on rear brakes and on the steering knuckle on disc brakes. They will be black with a heavy duty black wire going to them. Use a Torx E8 socket to remove the mounting bolt. Then, remove the sensor and clean with WD-40 (or brake cleaner) and a rag. You may also need to hose down the tone rings, if they are real dirty. This should take care of the situation.
With ABS, it's important to change brake fluid every 2 years to prevent problems. Corrosion and dirt play havoc with these systems. Valvoline Brake Fluid meets Ford's HBH requirements for trucks.
I'll give it a try... I have all disc brakes. I changed the rear one today it is on the rear axel on top of the knuckel $15.00 at Autozone but that was not the problem.I will try to clean the front they are big $

Did you check for codes?
Not sure about ford, low fluid level in the master cylinder will kick on the abs light.
