I have a 5 month old mini doxin. We had her trained completely after three months. We recently went away for three nights. Ever since we came home she has been going poop in her crate every night! What is that all about?

Her schedule was broken. She is still a young dog and probably wasn't 100% house broken or crate trained.

Any type of disruption can cause puppies to go backwards for their house training. Just start for the ground and work your way up. With guidance, she'll probably be back on track in a matter of days.

How often was someone coming over to let your puppy out? Maybe it wasn't enough, maybe they didn't follow the same routine.

I'm assuming you took the puppy with you, was the crate training the same, while you were on vacation?

The last time I took my pups with me, there were too many smells and it freaked Bingo out, she lost all control of what she normally does. 3 year old no accidents before this.:)
