I have a 1928G $2.00 bill with a red star to the left of the serial number. Clarke and Snyder signed red seal low serial number 0 to start and A to end the serial. The condition is fine to very fine and is still crisp limited folding. I need to know what is it worth and the best way to get the value at the sale

Meyowgee- Going by what you posed and posted after clough ,I can give you these VALUES;;
1928G silver certificate red star{BETTER KNOWN AS A STAR NOTE} SIGNATURES ARE <CLARK AND SNYDER; ANSWERS- 1928* note -VF-20 - $55.00 ;; UNC-63-$450.00[NOTE UNC MEANS UNCIRCULATED} THE reg note it's value is -VF-20-$10.00;;UNC-63-$45.00READ THE NOTE- A star note comes about like this - While being printed and they see a note that has been damaged in some way ,it is pulled out and listed in the record book,then it is taken to the furnace and burned,then another note is printed just like it and the only difference is thr {STAR ] Which can be a [RED}{ BLUE}{GREEN}STAR,just before or right after the serial number; ALSDO I was told by the treasury that when a note comes into a bank ,it is sent in and the same process takes place.
