Can I get custody of my three year old sister?
I am 20yrs old in the military my fiancé is going reservist and I have a three year old half sister. Well I have been hearing stories about my sister's mom and it has really been worrying me about how she is treating my sister. My dad only gets to see her once a week and he has to pay a lot way more than I have ever heard on anyone having to pay for child support and its really hurting him. I would really like for my dad to get full custody but him and his wife both think I should get custody of her and so does many of our friends who knows us all. My fiancé and I both would love to get her, and could supporrt her well. What would we have to go through to get her. I am so worried about her I just want to get her out of there.

If the parents are a danger to the child - mentally, physically - then you need to apply to the Court and attempt to get custody. Whether or not a single person can/will get custody depends on your State.

Are there reports to Child Protective Services?

Child support is not a random figure. Again, what State? If it is out of line your father can always go back and get it reduced. He will, however, continue to pay support until the child is adopted (if that is the case).
