    Divorce and abandonment
I am trying to divorce my husband, we agreed to do a non contested divorce with children but heturn hostile caling te cops and dfs trying to cause problems, saying sense I don't work andhe does hell take the kids, he has now stop calling and told the kids he didn't want to see them and he won't give any money now to help support them, he has not seen them or talk to the for 3 weeks, I told his mom that that's abandonment and she said its not, is it? I have done everything I can to be nice by giving him what he wanted out of the house and by signing the truck over to him.

Have you been to court for custody and support?

It's not abandonment. But if he changed his mind about an uncontested divorce, then you have to take him to court and get a judge to issue a divorce decree.

It is not criminal, it is sad that he is using the kids to fight in a divorce. And he is not required to pay unless there is a court order for support.

So you need to file for divorce, it is not going to be uncontested now
