I just noticed about an hour ago that my computer sounds like it's trying to start the CD/DVD player, but there are no disks in it. What can be making that sound? I Made sure that it was in a well venalated area and cleaned out the dust with my canned air.

Have you tried restarting the computer to see if will stop?

Also if you have one, try putting in a blank disk and if not avail, see if just having a disk in the drive will prevent what you may here.
