I am in love with my best friend adam.he is always there for me.. and we like each other but I haven't told him I like him and he is dating my ex-bestfriend!He always talks to me about girl problems.. and he is looking for a girl who will be there for him.. and I'm just sitting her with a bigg arrow pointing to me saying IM RIGHT HERE!... but what should I do?
I had this friend who sad a friend who I once met we were friends for 2 months and then my friend told him I liked him he asked me I said no that I liked other guy (I kind of think the other guy is hot thou) but then later on I text him and said I kind of lied... I kind of sort of li... lik- k- like--- you and I was blushin and about to fainth then he just said see? That wasn't so hard was it? I love you too and we been together for what will be a year in June 1st. Sometimes you have to take risks and yeah your friendship will be the bet you can lose it or get something better I think that the fact that he's with a girl right now makes everything more complicated but well if you think she isn't good for him (don't say she ain;t only because your jealous) then get him to hang out with you etc and tell him how you feel it's for his and your good and you'll feel better good luck!
I think you should be honest with him next time he mentions that he's not satisfied with his current girlfriend. He deserves to know that you cannot give him objective advice because:
- you care about his girlfriend based on the close friendship you once had with her and don't want to see her hurt.
- you consider him your closest friend now, so it's hard to pick sides between your current and former best friends.
- complicating things further, you think you are the right girl for him and would like to date him, so it's hard for you to pretend to be supportive of his interest in dating other girls.
This might be a bit of a bomb to drop but you've got to tell him. He may be fishing by talking to you about his girl problems anyway. He is probably testing to see what you'll say.

It's not a bad thing to date a best friend. It can be a great start to a good relationship. You can't freeze a relationship in time - it has to grow and change with the people in the relationship or it will die, so you take your chance and hope that it will be good. Date him! Continue to treat him like a best friend - you don't do things to him that you wouldn't want another girl to do to your best friend, and you ask him for the same courtesy up front.
And start honest. If he's into you, he needs to end it with this other girl before he dates you - don't accept anything less.
