I filled up my front tank yesterday and when I switch to it going down the road the gas gague showed empty and then I ran out of gas on front tank. Switch back over to the rear tank and then it ran.

I may not be correct in saying this but some fords with the dual tanks have a overflow tube which allows the gas gas to drain into one tank. Have you driven over a lot of hill laetly
