First he had two bacteria in his throat according to the culture. The first one was pseudomonas and aeromonas. The vet treated with antibiotics and this last culture, only the aeromonas remained. Its been 3 months since we have been battling this because it causes my puppy to gag after drinking water or eating since his tonsills is enlarged or swelled up because of the bacteria. The vet feels that we should wait it out. I need some advice.

What would you like advice on? If yo0u want a second opinion go to another vet. We can't see your dog, and none of us (that I know) are vets, and even if we were we wouldn't be able to diagnose him online.

Is he still on anti biotic now? How long does your vet want you to wait it out? I'm not exactly sure what you are asking?

I would get another culture sent out and see if there is a different antibiotic your pup can go on.
