I will be going to Turkey, Bodrum for a family holiday soon and I've heard some rumours about terrorism, pickpocketers and things like that in turkey I'm not sure if its just rumours but has anyone actually been to turkey or even better every been to Bodrum and know what its like there?

Bodrum is a truly beautiful place. I was there many many years ago. I do remember that dogs roamed there and would bother people. As far as pickpockets - yes, they are there and every other city in the world. Just be careful and enjoy your family holiday.
