I recently installed some canned lights and an arc fault breaker. When I hooked everything up, put a light bulb in one of the lights and then turned on the breaker the breaker popped. There is a 3 way switch--7 recessed lights and another 3 way switch with the power coming in to the first 3 way. If I disconnect the coiled neutral, from the arc fault breaker, from the neutral bus bar everything is fine. I checked the neutral from the arc fault breaker with a ohm meter (coiled neutral to ground bar) and I get a reading of about 113 volts. The neutral from the switch circuit shows no voltage. I checked the wiring to the arc fault breaker and it was connected correctly. Do I have a short somewher in the wiring. Not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

It seem you need your local electrician.

It certainly sounds like a direct short to ground (ground fault).

Leave the breaker in the off position and work from the lamp you tested back toward the breaker look for bare connectors touching metal or each other.

Three way switches have a feed and two travelers. Switches do not have a Neutral conductor.

You can get a book from the library or Lowe's, Home Depot etc. that will show you how to do basic switch wiring.
