Can Anyone Help Me Understand My Dream?
Can anyone help me interpret my dream?

Hi.. I had a very strange dream the other night.. so if anyone can help me understand what it means I would greatly appreciate it! Here is my dream:

I was at my house and at about 1 am there was an old women that came. She brought me two dogs. Both large dogs, I only remember what one looked liked. It was an off white color, short haired with pointy ears. Very cute. I kept the dogs with me, thinking I had no were to put them and I didn't even know if I wanted them or not. But I had to make sure they were taken care of. I wanted to get rid of one of them and keep the white one but I knew it wasn't good to separate the two.

If anyone has any idea's.. throw them out there. Thanks!

    Hi again, tyvm27!

Do you feel that you need to be protected from something or someone?

Having dogs in dreams could represent the need to have some sort of protection.

    Thanks!

Do you think this dream is in any relation to your other dream? The one about resolving unsaid issues with your ex? You posted it on another thread?
I believe I've read that dreaming of a house represents ourselves. An old woman often represents wisdom. I find it interesting that there is the number 1 in your dream (time: 1 am) and also that you had 2 dogs but only wanted to keep 1. If this is any relation to you other dream I would interpret it as a reflection of your relationship. There were two of you, you were a couple, couple =2, and then one had to go. You say, "I knew it wasn't good to seperate the two." It's always sad when we break up with someone and you do have regrets (am I right?) about breaking up with your ex. But I think you know, it was for the best. That old lady trusted you with the dogs. She knew you would know what to do, the right thing to do. You would make the right decision.

I never thought about this dream being in relation to the other dream I had. I honestly constantly have dreams of me and my ex not really getting back together but talking to him about how I feel.. and him accepting those feelings. I didn't break up with my ex, he broke up with me. And I don't necessarily know if it was the best or not. What makes you think that? Overall though, that's pretty interesting how you broke that dream down.
