Pain on top side of foot
I have sharp stabbing pain on the inside top of my right foot about halfwaybetween the ankle and the base of the big toe. It is not constant but at times is a lot worse than others. A few nites ago it was so painful in the middle of the night it awoke me and I couldn't find a position to make it stop hurting! It doesn't seem to matter what type of shoes I wear or whether I go barefoot! Wrapping isn't helping either. Is there some type of therapy?

I'm no expert, but have you looked into Plantar Fasciitis? Google it and see if it fits your problem. Good Luck

First of all get a professional diagnosis before you spend more time, money and effort.
I am dealing with plantar fasciitis for more than a year now. My symptoms seems similar to yours. I understood that treatment efficiency is very individual. If something works for one it may not work for the other. There are many treatment techniques that you can try. Did you try Taping? I have found it very useful. Taping will keep your foot from getting injured again and will help you get through your daily routine. There are a few Taping techniques you can use.
I also found a very informative website in:
