    Sewer drain guard
I am looking for a sewer drain guard for our basement floor. Our house was built in 1916 and the drain size is smaller than usual at 1 1/2 inch diameter. I have not been able to find a drain guard or drain cap to fit. I am hoping that there is a manufacturer of drain guards that makes drain guards in this size. Please help! It's the rainy season and I am afraid we will get flooded with sewage because the rain shares the same system as the sewer in our location.

A drain guard will not be much help if you are getting backups. Install a stand pipe or a check valve. General Wire Spring #4FH 4'''' Floor Drain Back Seal : 4FH - Buy.com
