    Lasco Shower Pans Drains
I have a Lasco shower assy. It was installed about 13 years ago. The bottom drain is glued to the pcv pipe. The screw flange cracked and does not tighten the bottom drain and seal against the bottom of the shower. The LASCO shower has the number 1943 SG molded into the shower floor and the number STAMPED into the floor is 3050. I want to know if this screw flange is still available and where do I purchase it ? I live in CT.

Thanks John e-mail address [email protected]

You don't have to install exactly the same drain that came with the pan. It can be different brand - but of course - it has to be for plastic shower base.

Is this shower on 2nd floor ? You will have to cut ceiling below to get to it. It is not a big job and it can be done in 1/2 hour.

    1. Cut ceiling
    2. Cut drain above the trap
    3. Remove old drain
    4. Install new drain
    5. Insert new piece of pipe connecting drain head and trap
    6. Glue new and old pipes together ( or use Fernco coupling )
    7. Test
    8. Cover up ceiling, tape, paint

That should do. If you need more specific details, let me know... Back to you... Milo
