If the drain is clogged would the water be gone in the drain? When the water softener recycles, it looks like water comes out over the area. There are crystals about 3 feet from drain and water area on concrete floor. Is it clogged?

A drain line should not have standing water, it is only wet will actively draining. Do you have a hose from the softner to a floor drain? The floor drain might be clogged but the hose could also be splashing when the system drains. Before doing any work I'd do a manual regeneration and observe what is happening with the wet area
