We can't really help with knowing more specifics. Its unusual for a dad to gain custody especially of a girl. So there may be other reason why you aren't living with mom. Also you don't explain why you hate it with your dad.

I can tell you the judge will listen to you, but your reasons will have to reasonable and well thought out. And they will have to account for the reasons you are with your father in the first place.

Everything ScottGem said is true. But just as a bit of encouragement, I have a 13 year old grandson living with me - his choice. The judge said there wasn't much more to say because the boy had voted with his feet. Now, depending on why you are with your dad, you should be heard. Stay calm and speak up when asked why you want to stay with your mum.

They'll certainly listen to you. That doesn't mean the judge will decide the way you want him/her to. A lot has to do with how stable a home your father has been providing you with for the last 6 years and your reasons for wanting to leave. If he's abusive to you or providing an unhealthy environment (such as using drugs or allowing others to in your home) and you can provide some evidence to back it up, then you've got a shot. However, if it's just your own whim that makes you want to go live with your mother (such as she'll let me do whatever I want without any rules) then don't count on it.
