Thermostat 9620 won't show display after replacing batteries

With the batteries installed correct and charged it should show a display while in your hand or on the wall. If you don't have a low voltage short. Did it have a display before changing the batteries

Some stats have a reset button that needs to be depressed, usually with a pin.
