On the starter relay is there 1 small wire or 2? You may have a ground wire hooked to the wrong connection. I pole should active the solenoid and the other should go hot only when the soleniod is active. Check that first.
OK on the starter there is two posts I have run the large red wire from the soleniod to the first post and the small red wire that comes from the key switch (fused wire) to the front post and the third is a quick connect plug and I have grounded that out. The engine turns over with the starter wired this way but within 1 / 2 sec. the fuse blows
I could really use a wire diagram for the starter that might get me the jist of it
Is the quick connect wire hooked to the starter soleniod?
Should be 2 large posts and one or two small ones on the soleniod. How many are there on the soleniod? ( of the small posts)
One on the soleniod and this is what I have run the ground to the two large posts have the hot wires to them
