I was accepted into Nusring school for the fall and have to do a criminal background check. I have a SIS for a felony of passing a bad check in 2003. Will this come back on a background check? And will it affect my chances of gettinginto the Nursing program?

In my State - NY - yes. It certainly will show on a background check and it will affect your chances of getting into the Nursing program.
