I read a book when I was a young girl about a wee boy who changed into a cat. His mother put him out into the street and he lived as an alley cat fending for himself. I have been trying to remember the name of it so I could try to get it for my grandchildren to read. As I recall it was not a child's book as such. Please can anyone help. Thank you Mary Galbraith
