How much slope is required once I have the p-trap installed.
The abs pipe is approx 10in long before it elbows straight down . This is a new install washroom with the builder having done the rough-in 5yrs ago. Also I must move the abs to the right about a in so it will line up with my pedestal sink.
    Thanks
    Shawn

    Hi Shawn,

I hope you aren't telling me this doesn't have a vent.
For a 1 1/2 or 2" drain the sloipe is 1/4" to the foot.

The trap should swing over a inch so you can install your lavatory. Good luck, Tom

Is that 10 feet of horizontal "dirt arm" connecting P-trap and vertical drain ?

    Milo, That's 10 inches not 10 feet.

Does it sound like it's vented to you? Regards, Toim
