Can mother go back to court for child support after it has already been dropped?
My boyfriends son is 18, resides in Wisconsin and recently was incarcerated. He has dropped out of school when he was 15 years old and is currently trying to enroll in school to get his GED. It has been 4 months since child support has been dropped. The mother of there son is now trying to go back and get child support for the child seeing that now he is enrolled in a program to get his GED. My question is can she take him back to court for child support again after it has already been dropped per courts?

Yes, if the child now meets the state requirements

Please pay more attention to posting guidelines. There is a Read First sticky in the Children forum (where this was moved from) that directs questions of a legal nature to this forum.

If there is a change in circumstances then the court case can be reopened.

Is he enrolling in GED classes while serving his time?

If the child is in the custody of the state then the mother wouldn't have a legal right to ask for child support. And if the state thought it was in their interest to do so they would chase after him.
