You have either blocked sewer pipe or your washing machine discharges water too fast for your (undersized) pipes. Pipes are unable to absorb all water and slowly overflow stand pipe...

Question: What size pipes do you have ? Do you have a stand pipe ? Do you have brand new washing machine ?

    Back to you...
