I am taking the 21-day pill for the first time. I have finished the pills and for 7days am not to take the pills so that my period can come. However, it's my second day and still no sign of period. Is this normal? Could I be pregnant? (I took all the pills and never missed a day)

Although pregnancy is always a concern when having intercourse, as no form of birth control is 100% effective, this is common for the first few months of taking a new pill.

If you don't have your period in another week try taking a hpt using first morning urine to ease your mind.

If this is your first time taking the pill, it would have been better if you had used extra protection ( a condom), at least during your first days of taking it.

That being said, I get my 'period' 4 days after I take the 21st pill. Sometimes I might get it 5 days after.

But even if you don't get it at all, this DOES happen at the beginning. Give your body time to adjust to it.
