Hi my first post here. Just recently I started thinking about my ex. We only dated for about 3 months so this may sound lame. Lately I just started thinking about her again. It was almost a year ago now since we broke up. I just feel I should be driving over to her town to spend time with her. I also just heard the song that she said was "ours" I took it really hard when we first broke up, considering she was my first girlfriend sounds lame I know, just don't know what to think here

Takes a long time to get over your first. I broke up with my ex of 4 years, who was my first, almost two years ago. I still think about her and other things about that relationship to this day.

Just keep looking to the future and try not to dwell in the past. When you truly care about someone, they stay with you in your heart and mind forever. That's how you know you are capable of really loving someone.

You were only together 3 months. That's not very long. Not that your post sounds "lame" but I think it's normal once in a while to be reminded of an ex, but really it doesn't sound like there's any need to drive to her town to spend time with her. Just keep doing your thing.

People, places, and things can trigger strong memories back to the suface of your mind, and usually old feelings come with them. That's normal for us humans. It will pass, and there is no reason to act on them.

If you drove over to her place, you might find she's now with someone else, so what would that do for you.
