I got a lawnmower from a guy that had it sitting in his back yard for seven years. When trying to push the lawnmower back to my house I noticed that the back wheels do not turn. When I got it home I put it on a jack and tried spinning the wheels. When I tried turning one the spun in opposite directions. How can I get the trans mission working or could it be a different problem? The model number is 0-40603B. Thanks

The wheels are suopposed to turn in opsite direction while no weight is on them. Shifter lever is probably stuck.
