Oooh yes, I have heard several stories like this.

I'm not sure if it is the same chicken I read about (it was some time ago) but they cut his head off (he was going to be dinner) but he survived!

They continued to feed him afterwards straight down the hole in his neck. He eventually died from choking on a corn kernel :(

He lived for a long time after his head was removed. He would still try to peck at the ground. He was fed by a dropper.
