Dell Laptop White Screen / Motherboard Part Number Help!!
I'm getting a white screen with vertical lines filling the screen as soon as I power on my Dell Vostro 1310 laptop.
I have an identical working laptop which I used to troubleshoot with by changing the following but to no avail:
- Memory
- Battery
- TFT screen
- TFT Inverter
- TFT Backlight
- TFT Screen cables
I'm sure it's now the motherboard and probably the graphics chipset gone faulty but as its integrated, I need to change the whole board.
My problem is, I cannot figure out where/what part number or board number I need to replace it. I have seen a few on sale on eBay but they have various part codes which I cannot see on my laptop.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. Attaching external screen does produce a picture but in boot up has green vertical lines.
