    Hey I am in ROTC at high school and I was wondering if it would help me if I get into the real service.

    Any experience gained is going to be helpful. Its more a matter of what part you want to be in the service. If you have real questions ask a recruiter and they can help you.

    ROTC in high school, depending on how long you've been in can help you go directly in as an E2 or E3.
