90s cartoon. Wasteland, possibly another planet. There was a blonde teenage boy with a pet furball thing. I particularly remember this red like aggressive animal that ran fast. It was sort of like an alien raptor and it tried to get into this compound but it was surrounded by an electric fence. That's all I got, dying to remember that show.

A couple of teens (Jim and P.J.), and their "pet" bouncer Willis stumble onto a conspiracy going on at their Mars colony that could endanger everyone's lives. They're forced to flee into the deserts of Mars when the conspirators decide that the teens know too much. They manage to survive in the harsh Martian terrain and have an encounter with the mysterious native Martians. Although they aren't able to understand the natives, the aliens immediately take to Willis. Jim and PJ realize that Willis is an immature Martian, that is about to go into a long hibernation.When he emerges decades later Willis would look like the adults.
