I'm 16 and I want to get emanscipated from my mom, but I don't know if I can. She really affects me mentally and I'm uncomfortable living here. I feel like she only wants me for child support. How do I know if its enough to try?

Laws vary from state to state, but generally if your state allows emancipation you will need to prove you can live on your own. Support yourself completely.
