Get a copy of the Court papers and attempt to get the Judgment set aside because you were not served with the proper papers.
Of course, you will then be served properly and the case will go to a trial/hearing.
What is your defense?
First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
Are you sure it was without notice? Were you aware that you had been sued and a judgment obtained? You will not get notice before your account is attached. Once a judgment is obtained, the plaintiff can attach assets without notice.
Bottom line here is you haven't given us enough information to give you a good answer. You need to give us details of the debt and the collection efforts previously initiated.
Scott is right - what efforts were made to collect?
I took "without notice" to mean that there was no notice of the impending Court case.
Only OP knows.
