Statue of limitations for crimes in Florida
I was released from prison in Massachusetts back in 2005. Before I was released, they ran a C.O.R.I. and I was told by the prison lawyer I had a warrant for fraud in the state of Florida from 2003. Is there a statue of limitations on this? Also on 3 different occasions returning to the country from vacation, I was held when my passport was flagged but I still have never been told why. Could this issue with my passport be stemming from these charges in Fla. Please help

Once a warrant is issued there is no Statue of limitation. That stops once you are charged with the crime. So a warrant is good forever.

Yes you can be detained while they see if the state wants to take you in ( pay for you to be transported back to them.
