I was wondering if somebody can show me what the mantra so-ham looks like in sanskrit writing? I have seen two different versions of it, one being one character longer than the other. Do you know which way is the correct was?

I am not aware of any mantra as so-ham. Maybe your are talking about "AUM". It has two and a half syllables but appears as 1. Let see see what you have first so that I know what I am answering about.
