I'm on probation but after my first visit he put me on mail-in. That means I don't go back to see the PO in person until the 6 month mark. He said that they do random drug testing and he warned me that they may test me when I go in for my 6 month appointment. What I'm wondering is if they could/would call me and have me come in for a random drug test while I'm on mail-in or if that's only something I need to worry about for the office visit. My offense had nothing to do with drugs or alcohol, but they did test me on my last office visit so I know they do it. And if they DID call me in, do you think it would be on the date that my probation fee is due (my mail-in appt date so to speak)? It's no big deal for me to stay clean for a few weeks leading up to the 6 month appt, but not being able to smoke for the next 4 months will be tough. Pot is the only thing that gives this insomniac a good night's rest. = (

No, no specific date - it's random testing.

I would find something else to help you sleep if you don't want to violate.

They can call anytime and require you come in that day, and/or even show up at work place or home and test you anytime.

Try hot milk and taking a walk to go to sleep

Try Restoril or Ambien, they are legal. ;)

I thought about your post, you state " only thing that can make you sleep" not that you just enjoy it, like getting high and so on. That is a big difference. If it is effecting your life, and effecting things you do, then it is an addiction and you need to get it under control just for yourself.
