I need a sample motion for discovery to get information from a police station
I was beating at a local police station by an officer and the chief of police refuses to give the name and other information I need. How do I file a motion of discovery to get the names of the officers involved and any tapes or pictures related to my beating. Is there a sample I can use.

    Hello g:

You're going to need a lawyer. You, all by yourself, CANNOT win against the cops. You only file motions IF there's a court case. Have you SUED them yet??

Dude. If you don't get a lawyer, they'll beat you up again.

There are no motions of discovery unless there is a court case filed. Each police officer sued will have a right to an attorney, normally paid for by either the police union or the department. The Department will have city attorneys who will be working the case.

You have little to no chance against them without your own attorney.
