My tenant gave 30 days notice, signed, but now does not want to leave.
My tenant gave signed notice to vacate and then scheduled surgery for the day after his vacate day. He has no plans to vacate, perhaps ever. How do I proceed?

He is still a resident whether he pays rent or not so evict him.

Well do you want him out ?

Does he have a lease ?

Is he paying the rent on time.

Did you have additional costs because of this.

So you let him stay if you want as long as they pay their rent.

Not sure what you want, if they want to change their minds, they can as long as you don't care

The lease has terminated. He pays his rent on time. He will not let repairmen into the house and we would like him gone. He does however have medical issues and this could get sticky. We do have a signed statement from him saying he will vacate at the end of the month.

By accepting his rent you have made him into a mont-to-month tenant and you should in turn give him a 30 day notice to vacant. Health is not a sticky issue when it comes to a lease agreement
