I have a reverse pump on my laundry tub, In the middle of doing luandry the laundry filter came off, and now the tub is clogged, How can I unclog it without damaging the pump below? Are chemicals safe?

Do not put chemicals down the drain If there's a "P" trap installed remove it and check for a clog, If it's clear then open up the pump enclosure and check the suction inlet to the pump.
Let me know what you find.
    Good luck, Tom

That did the trick, looks like the roommate washed paper or kleenex in the pockets, and it was clogged up in the p trap... ick.
