250 mcm service wire maximum distance
I need to know what size wire I need from the meter which is at the street to the house which is 410' away. I realize that this is a long distance, but this is Alaska and it is what it is. We are looking at 200 Amp service for a 4500 sq, ft. house. Nothing in the house use a lot of electricity (no electric ovens or electric heat).

According to the wire sizing chart based on a maximum of 3% voltage drop you would need a 3oo mcm service wire (copper).

What are you using for amperage? We do not know the calculated load.
Also, are you using 120v or 240v?

Since when does a service require a 3% VD limit?
