    Building up a floor/lowering ceiling
I am looking to expand my laundry room/pantry area into the garage by 3'-0". To do this I have to raise the floor height and lower the ceiling height. What would be the best approach to achieving this? Should I build my wall first, then the floor/ceiling? Should I frame out the ceiling/ floor extension first, then the wall?

For a small area like this I'd stick build the wall so do the floor extension first.

Would build floor first. Would not lower ceiling if in pantry. Can use that area for more storage.
