Can you Keep from being overweight if You can't do Aerobic Exercise?
I had pain in the chest from running 2 days ago and I'm still feeling the effects.
From suggestions given to me, it's probably not good for me to run or do strenuous exercise.

But in health forums/books/tv, they always say you need to do at least 45 minutes of aerobic exercise to keep slim.

Now that I'm in pain and I know I have some kind of problem, I don't think I should try any aerobic exercise for a while. (My chest hurts even from walking)

So am I going to eventually going to be overweight?
Or how do I keep from being overweight?

I wouldn't advise any exercise, not even aerobic (because that is cardio as well). Just watch what you eat. This is just my opinion but opinion based on healthcare experience. You know from being a sometimes member that we can't diagnose here, but I had to warn you about your chest pain. I am sure that once you get checked out, your doctor will advise you on just what you can work back to slowly.
