I know it says to refain from takeing indegestion medicine but what will happen

I feel like my throats burning and have an acid tatse in my mouth I thing its acid reflux so I want to take a tum (basically just flavoured chalk)
To stop it unles it is seriously going to harm me.

I will be taking the tum and the declofenac sodium at the same time or will it be OK if I miss a dose and take a tum?
