Adding a shower to a jacuzzi tub
One side of our jacuzzi tub is installed in front of double windows and the side opposite of the faucet is against a wall. This bathroom also has a cathedral ceiling.

Please see attached pictures. I'd like to have a shower addition and either keep the tub or take it out, take out the windows and put in a spa shower. Do you have any advice on how I could have both!

    Regards,

How about a shower that you don't have to tear the walls up to install? (see image) Interested? Let me know, Tom

If you want to add hand-held shower you can do it with minimal damage. Just open the back of the parapet wall, install diverter and hand-held - and you are finished. You don't have to do anything with window or tub.

But, if you wish to have regular shower then...

How much space do you have to the left of the faucet ? If you have 30" than you could extend the wall 6' high, build another wall to the left of the faucet , add shower faucet, enclose front with shower door ( or curtain) and you are finished.

If you don't have enough room to the left, then you can lift the tub, relocate drain, install shower pan, raise that parapet wall to 6' and install shower faucet and head, close that window and you are done.

Let us know which way you want to go... Back to you... Milo
