Why do I have a brown ring aound my hot tub, What kind of chemical do I need to get rid of it, What should I do. I hear people saying too many minerals, but what do I use to get rid of it to where it doesn't happen anymore?

A product called CLR (if you are in the USA anyway) is worth a try. You don't dump it in the water... you wipe it over the area affected, and rinse away. If its mineral deposits, like Iron and or calcium it should work.

Could be minerals, body oil or even suntan lotion. CRL, 409, or Fantasic will work. If you have a filter check and replace if necessary. Good luck, Tom
