Can I buy a house in MD without my spouse
In the state of Maryland can a one person in the marriage buy a house without the other person in the marriage being on the deed and loan?

    Hello n:

Probably. But, if MD is a community property state, then your spouse will own half of it anyway. If not, and you use community funds to buy it, your spouse'll own half because of that.

Yes, but, they may still have claim to it, if a divorce happens, merely not putting their name on a deed, for a house bought while married, does not protect it
