Am I pregnant?

I am 22 years old and think I might be pregnant but am not sure. I had unprotected sex during my period march 5-8. I also had unprotected sex the week following (afterwards I took 2 regular birth control pills, which made me throw up the next morning). Over the past two weeks I've been feeling like I have cramps, sort of. Its like I am aware that my woman-hood is there is that makes any sense. It is a discomfort not really a pain or full out cramps or anything like that. I didn't realize this was a sign of pregnancy till I mentioned it to my friend who has a child and she said she felt the same way before she found out she was pregnant. I took two of the high sensitive pregnancy test (20mg) this morning with the first urine of the day and they were negative. I don't have any signs like being tired, constipation, or sore breasts or anything like that. I keep feeling like I have cramps of some sort, but now that I know that's a sign I'm not sure if its really happening or if my mind is playing tricks on me. Please help... my boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 years so it wouldn't be the end of the world, just bad timing. I just wondered what my chances of actually being pregnant are and if it is all in my head or not. As crazy as it sounds and even though I'm fully unprepared and should have been relieved, I was sad this morning that the test was negative. :(

Perhaps its because the best thing for you to do is to go see a doctor? :rolleyes:

Take note that no one can diagnose someone through the internet. And there are many many people asking those kinds of questions. It's really difficult to answer those kinds of questions with certainty, because you might be overlooking something, or we here miss something and tell you the wrong thing to do, leading to a false diagnosis. The best thing to do, so, is for you to get to see a doctor.

No my friend did it as a joke cause she thinks its ridiculous that I posted my question, but I just honestly wanted some feedback for piece of mind.

What kind of feedback are you looking for? We can't tell you whether your are pregnant or not. It's possible, you had sex, so you, you could be pregnant. You'll just have to play the waiting game.

How late is your period? It could just be too early to test or the cramps mean that your period is coming.

Wait another week. If you still haven't gotten your period then try another hpt.

Thanks I don't know what type of feedback I am looking for, maybe someone that had the same symptoms and then later found out they were or were not pregnant.

If you had un protected sex, than yes you could be.

You really can't go by someone else's symptoms. Everyone is different, every pregnancy is different. Some women have all the symptoms, some don't have any. Also, pregnancy symptoms and PMS are almost exact.

Really the only way to know if you're pregnant is a positive pregnancy test. So wait another week and then retest if you haven't gotten your period.
