    Hypothesis testing
When testing gas pumps in Michigan for accuracy enforcement officials tested pumps and found 1299 of them were not pumping accurately and 5686 were accurate. They were off by 3.30z, for every 5 gallons pumped. Use a .05 level of significance to test the claim that less than 10% of Michigan pumps are inaccurate.

    Hypothesis Testing
A SRS of 24 male runners was taken and their weights in kilograms were determined as follows:
    67.8 61.9 63.0 53.1 62.3 59.7 55.4 58.9
    60.9 69.2 63.7 68.3 64.7 65.6 56.0 57.8
    66.0 62.9 53.6 65.0 55.8 60.4 69.3 61.7

Set up a test of hypothesis to test if the mean of the population from which the sample was drawn can reasonably be assumed to be 63kg. Or not. Use the .05 level of significance.
Estimate the mean of the population with 90% probability.

Ugh, sorry. I didn't mean to answer my own question with another question.
If anyone can please help me with both problems I will greatly appreciate it. Math has always been a weakness of mine and I just don't understand how to start either of these problems.
