My sis in law is 38 weeks pregnant and when she went to the docs and she fell the non stress test they did a ultrasound and told her her baby had cyst on her ovaries and falipoen tubes but then they sent her home and are not having her back until Monday but the baby is already 8pounds 3 ounces why don't they just take it now my ? Is what is the risk to the baby they said if they are to big they will do surgery to remove them we are really really worried and don't really know what to except any info on this ? I never heard of a baby having cyst on the overis so young not even born yet has anyone heard of this?? Any info iapericated thank you so much

Keep in mind that the weight is an approximation, not an exact science. Since there is no real medical need for her to be induced at this point, she is actually better off waiting to see if she goes into labor on her own.

The baby will be evaluated after birth and it will be determined whether they can just keep an eye on the cyst, which often resolve themselves, or if they might decide to treat it. Anytime there is an abnormality, baby will be thoroughly checked to be sure all is well.

OK thank you I am just worried that hospital has put her through so much she already went in to labor three times they out her on shots for a blood clot but nethier her or the baby has blood clots according to the doc then they told her she has lupus and now they say she don't so I don't know what's going on thanks for the help
