Being minutes late taking birth control
Okay, I'm very new to birth control. I'm only on my sixth day actually. Today I ran into major traffic and I took a pill like 10 minutes after the time I've been taking it. I looked over the whole phamplet and it doesn't say anything about a small time frame like that so I'm assuming it's okay.. Maybe a bad thing? :-x
Anyway, is it okay to be a few minutes off? Also, from now on am I supposed to take it at the time I did today, or the same time I've been taking it.

Thanks so much for reading and answering!

    Honestly..
They tell you it's a good idea to take the pill same time every day.. and it is... They say that because they don't want you missing pills... It is good to take it the same time.. Like in a routine. I take my pill every morning rite after I brush my teeth.. I can not go without brushing them, so I know I won't miss my pill.

There are times I won't beable to get to it until later, say if I sleep in, or wind up un-expectidly staying at a friends. But ALWAYS take it every day!!

10 minutes isn't going to matter, sometimes I take mine an hour before or after the due time.

Just make sure it's not a large period and if you are going out somewhere make sure you take them with you ;)

I take mine just before I go to bed which isn't exactly the same time every night, especially on weekends.
